Canadian Deaf Golf Association Hall of Fame (CDGAHF)

Guidelines for nominating inductees:

                                                           

1. Must be Canadian citizen and deaf golfers

 

2. Must be a resident in the country of Canada

 

3. Must be 45 years of age or older as of January 1st preceding the bi-annual Hall of Fame announcement

 

4. To recognize amateur golfers (players) from Provincial Deaf Golf organization who have contributed to the game/tournament of golf in the past years (i.e. 1. Golfers shall be chosen based on their skills and abilities, fair play, leadership, individual statistics, and team accomplishments and 2. A distinguished record of competitive achievement at the highest provincial, national, international level, with consideration given to integrity, sportsmanship and character.

 

5. To recognize builders (Board of Directors and Hosts) from Provincial Deaf Golf organization who have developed to the game/tournament of golf in the past years (i.e. 1. Builders shall be chosen based on their skills and abilities, leaderships, positive motivations, good communicators and building accomplishments).

 

6. To induct inductees once elected to the Hall of Fame, inductees' portrait (computer image) are posted in the website of Canada Deaf Golf Association (www.cdga1993.wix.com/cdga)

 

7. To nominate inductees for Hall of Fame, nominations must be from each of Deaf Provincial Golf Association Board of Directors.

 

8. To get the final approval by CDGA Board.

 

Note: To establish CDGA Hall of Fame’s Sub Committee, who will be responsible for selecting inductees must be approved by CDGA Board.
