As a Golfer:
Since 11 years old, he is still a member of Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam.
• 1977, he played with Corey Pavin during the American’s Cup in Mexico
• Junior Club Championships – 1977, 1978 and 1979.
• Tied course record at Fort Langley Golf and Country with a 66.
• Played many Amateur Competitions
• 1983 won Quichama Amateur Competitions – Scored 72 – 7
• Did carded 7 straight birdies (odds 12,500 to 1)
• Had 3 hole in one (odds 6 million to 1)
Canadian Deaf Golf Championships:
• Participated 8 times and continuing.
• 7 straight from 2001 to 2013
• 2015 – he had to skip it because he playing British Columbia Senior Men Championship, he came 22nd place.
• 2017 – 13th CDGC, he came 4th place.
• Personal best is winning 3 straight CDGC Men’s Championships from 2001 – 2005.
• Always top 5 during 8 CDGC – never lower (3-Championships, 3-3rd place, 1-4th place and 1-5th place)
World Deaf Golf Championships:
• Participated 10 times – only missed 2 times.
• His first time to play 1st WDGC in 1995, he was 4th place.
• His personal best at WDGC was in 2002 in Ireland – he came 3rd place.
• He also won Team Men Awards – 1st Place in 2002 and 2nd Place in 2006. Also 4th place 3 times.
